Vortal Combat

Vortal Combat is a 2D shoot'em up in which you pilot a starfighter against unknown enemies in an asteroid field. Destroy enemies and asteroids, collect power-ups for weapons and shields upgrades, don't overheat your weapons and try to make the highest score. Don't forget your deadly Smart Bombs.

Use arrows key to move S to shoot and X to drop smart bombs.

Vortal Combat is a Javascript game using the HTML5 Canvas and Audio objects created from scratch by Ludovic CLUBER in 2011 to test the power and reliability of HTML5 canvas. The project quickly became fun and challenging so it has been decided to polish it and publish it as a technical demo.
